: This is going to be quick and dirty because I'm tired of sitting in front of this damn screen! =/ : Anyway, a few of us SoCal Zers and a very cool Supra guy (with his MR2 driving friend) made the 2 hour trek up to Bakersfield for the Famoso Raceway test and tune. : As usual we were the only imports there in V8 town and we didn't get but a run or two in before dark. Once it was dark, however, we cycled through about 4 or 5 more. We were so hopeful that a night event would provide great boost weather, but it ended up being 75+ at NIGHT up there and over 100 during the day. The runs weren't spectacular, but a lot of tuning was done. : Mark also brought up his insane, yet stock looking and stock motored, 280ZX with a T4 turbo in it. With Greg D. at the wheel, it's first set of runs ever hit low 11's and some high 11's. That's with the car burning right through the slicks and getting squirly down most of the track. When Greg D. has to let up, you KNOW it's wild! The car sat for 6 years prior to being completed recently and taken to the track! Once traction is controlled, it's a sure 10 second car. Also, a BIG THANKS to Greg D. for bringing the RV and spoiling us with food, drinks and repairs all day! We're lucky to have ya bro. : Here's some vids. All are 1.3mb in size. : Mark's 11 sec. 280ZX : Mike (La Canada) handing a defeat to our Supra friend : Michael Homer (WXY) showing a modified Impala who's boss : Mike (La Canada) making another 12 sec pass...this time solo. Man that thing moves. And yes ladies, it's a 96! : A rare shot of me in the burnout box with spotz behind the camera. For the pathetic 60' times my car is troubled with, the damn thing sure can spin em. Bounce off that rev limiter baby! : And the spoiled fruit of my labor...an ass-whipping by Ste?myZ's heavily modded TT =) : That's it! Hope you enjoyed em. i had probs downloding only second came up for me owell.... >;\
